I’m Andrew and I’m an illustrator based in North-East London.
I’ve been drawing my whole life. When I was little, I spent hours at the kitchen table, sketching my favourite comic book characters, doodling silly cards for friends and family, finding a playground for my imagination to explore.
Since then not much has changed…
This particular part of the journey began when I drew a card for my partner, an homage to one of our favourite TV shows. When she posted it on Twitter, it gained some attention from other fans, and pretty soon I got a few commissions to make more. This gave me the spark I needed to start my own online shop. And so Hand Drawn By Andrew was born.
I’ve since made eye-catching art for walls, personal stationery for weddings, bespoke gifts for anniversaries, to name but a few. Producing art that brings people joy or makes them laugh is the best feeling ever.
